Summertime
... and all of a sudden it actually feels like it. Just a few images from around our place:
For the first time ever, we have a family of squirrels living in the neighborhood. They seem to like my little cherry tree:
And I have pretty run of the mill kinds of roses in the yard, but this year one bush is trying to outdo all the rest. This rose is 6" across and the most vivid color I have ever seen on a rose.

Those squirrels aren't eating your cherries are they!
That is a pretty rose...summer sure makes the prettiest of things.
The squirrels are eating my flowers! I was wondering what was happening to the blossoms and when I got home a couple of days ago there was one of them pulling down one of the lily plants and breaking off the entire head of buds! Hope he enjoyed them, because we sure aren't going to get to.
