Frump

I've met my storage max on Google???????   I didn't even know I had a Picassa account.  Did you?
I guess I just figured the program used the storage from my own computer.
Oh, silly, silly me.

So do I allow the blog to die?
Do I spend hours deleting old, old, old posts to recover some space?
Do I downsize all my photos so they don't count in the size?
Or do I just bite the bullet and pay for more storage?

Yeah, Google's got me there.

Weird. I've had a blog longer than you have. I can't put pics on my side bar because I've ran out of space but not on the blogs. Let me know when you find out!

So sad! My storage space is quickly running out as well, so I'm not quite sure what we'll do either. I don't think I'd delete the posts--no matter how old. They're great family history. I guess another possibility would be to keep this one intact and start over with a new blog address. (You might have to associate it with a new sign-in/e-mail account.) Not ideal, but perhaps an option. Good luck! I'm really bummed by how google's upped the storage prices. It seems a lot to pay.

Makinzee, it was the side bar I was trying to upload a picture to. Apparently you can have an unlimited number of "small" pictures in the blog, but when they are a little larger (like all of mine are - I like to be able to see them), that's where the trouble begins.

The new Google sign-ins (since the last part of April) actually are given more free storage. I'm not sure why they didn't just up it for everyone????

Anyway, the bottom line is I'm still not sure what's going on. Need to educate myself. I have yet to take the time to figure out what it's going to cost to buy more storage. I'm with you Kara. I hate to delete them. It is good family history as I look back to the beginning. There are some services that will print a book from your blog. I'll have to look into that.

And since I have three blogs under this one email address, I probably shouldn't try to start another one. Maybe that's part of my problem, too. ??????? Who knows?????

Hmmm... I actually have four blogs under my e-mail and haven't run into any issues myself. I would just start another one so that you have everything online and available for when you are able to print it off yourself.
