Alpine Loop

Its felt like forever since Brent and I went on a Sunday drive.  Used to gather all the little ones and go driving on a regular basis on Sunday afternoons.  Utah has a lot of beautiful places to visit close to home and we've always enjoyed Sunday drives.  Just haven't done it in a long while - kind of got out of the habit during Brent's time as a High Councilman and Bishop.

But yesterday, with blue skies and autumn colors beckoning, we dusted off the Explorer and joined the many other Sunday drivers for a little trip over the top of Alpine Loop.   I've posted a lot of photos on Facebook left over from my birthday (different than the ones below) as well as some of the ones I got yesterday of the autumn colors.   The colors were still breathtaking in areas.

Those pictures are all gorgeous, but the one you posted here is AMAZING! Makes me want to come straight to Utah for a Sunday drive. That is such a nice way to spend the Sabbnath, chatting with loved ones while taking in the beauty of the world.

Thanks so much for taking me on that beautiful Sunday drive! I don't know when I've seen such gorgeous fall colors. And you are an amazing photographer! Should at least do a calendar!
