31 beautiful years...

Happy Birthday my beautiful child!  I really did start this post yesterday morning.  Got the photos all loaded with the intention of finishing it after I got home from work.  And getting your birthday gift to you and giving you birthday hugs in person ON your birthday.

Midnight is not a good time to come calling.  And that's when I finally crawled home from a 12 hr. day at work.  So, here's to yesterday, from yesteryear and the day before yesterday.  Hope yesterday was wonderful, because you are a wonderful addition to our great family.

From the day you were born (in an era before gender check ultrasounds) and I learned we would get to use the color pink in our home, which became my favorite color for the next several years, by the way, until this very minute you have been a blessing to us.
Mothers Day or maybe Memorial Day at Leo and Edna's.  Julie, Tonya, Brent, and Mike .....
Birthday dinner at Tonya's.   Lexi, Eric, and, yep, son of Mike!  Jack.
Happy Birthday, to you.  Happy Birthday, to you!   The Allen tradition of holding hands for the song is a beautiful tradition.  Training Luke from the start!   Brian, Eric, Tonya, Luke, Mike, and Jack
The cake.  (Heather, it was supposed to be for you, too.  We missed you!)
Wishes will come true!
Yep, they all blew out!

Maddy, Eric, Jack and Lexi with their ice cream cake and cupcakes.

Makinzee and Lilly

Daddy and son

Eric and his toy.  Right, it's supposed to be Tonya's tool, but don't tell him that.

Mommy and son.
We had a great time with all of you on Sunday.  Missed everyone who was sick.  And really hoping that spring will send all the flu flying when it comes.  And it will come soon.  I saw tips of the daffodils and tulips poking through the ground the other day, before it snowed and covered them again.  But there is something definitely good knowing they are there, growing, reaching, pushing their way back to colorful life!

Happy 31st Birthday, Tonya!  You are a gorgeous woman, wonderful daughter, terrific wife and mother.   We couldn't be more pleased to call you daughter.

:) Aw she looks so beautiful and happy. Her and Heather's birthdays are so close! What a fun birthday present for Tonya when Heather was born!

It was fun to have an extra big piece of cake since Heather didn't come to her own party.

Lucas is so cute! I miss all those new born sounds and things they do. Mine's so busy these days it'd be nice to just sit and hold them while they sleep.

LOL. That picture of Mike and Jack is a keeper. Jack said it was himself when it was Mike. They really are mini-me's! Too cute love the angle you got of both of them also.
