For Jake!
Who Turned Eight!
And was now old enough to be baptized.
Which he chose to do.
And we got to Baltimore to be there for this wonderful occasion.
Saturday, August 23, 2014, Jake was baptized by his father.
After the meeting those who came were treated to a little feast by Sean and Linzy. We had fun being together, meeting many of their friends and celebrating.

After Church we all returned to Sean's for lunch before Norma had to catch her flight back to Utah. Linzy drove her while we stayed and played with the kids:| Little Sean figured a neat new way to get transported around the house...Grandma Power! |

| Photo sharing time. |
| Balancing act. Jake beat the socks off me. That's because he had Grandma cheering him on. |

Jake's first day of school was Monday morning. Little Sean and Linzy were both battling a stomach flu that came on strong during the night. So we had Sean, Tabatha and Nick (who would be back to school on Tuesday) join us for lunch at the Cracker Barrel before we returned the rental car and made our way back to the airport. I never take enough pictures of these kids. So I took a couple more, but they were pretty intense on figuring out what they were going to eat.
It was great to have Edna with us on this trip. And great to have a little bit of time in D.C. and being with Sean's family again. Looking forward to seeing them again after the baby's born. I just always wish we lived closer.

It looks like you all had a wonderful time in MD. Wish I could have pulled away from work to be there. Glad the hotel situation ended up getting resolved too.
