Makinzee's post
(click here for Makinzee's post) reminded me ... I still haven't published the photos from our fun St. Patrick's Day dinner at Bill and Stephanie's house on Sunday, March 17th. So here goes:
| When we arrived, we found Kamryn busy drawing a sidewalk photo of the entire family - every single one of us was there, and it was a huge undertaking. Our little family continues to grow in wondrous ways! |
| Uncle Dan got to meet his newest nephew Luke. And Lexi loved having another "L" cousin around ... though she's really an "A" for Alexis, but we all call her Lexi, so is that confusing????? |
| Lots of green, lots of places to eat, lots of good food,
and lots of wonderful people - we had a great time. Thanks to Stephanie
for always opening her home to our family gatherings! Menu: grilled chicken, tossed salad, veggies, fruit shish kabobs, huge
rolls, baked asparagus - Stephanie's recipe, absolutely wonderful! Lemon bars and rainbow cupcakes for dessert. All so yummy! |
| Leo and Edna joined us for the "big feast" of green and rainbow foods. Stephanie made those darling shish kabobs with rainbow colored fruit. |
| Jack came dressed like a leprechaun himself. Bill came dressed like a police officer - oh, wait, he is one! He was on duty that night, but we kept him as long as we could. So this is a picture of Bill feeding himself. And this....(below).... |
| ...is a picture of Kamryn feeding Eric. I looked over to see her helping Eric empty his plate and thought that was just cute as could be! (But Stephanie's going to kill me when she sees this picture. Her house is kept absolutely spotless, until we all converge on it and dump all the diaper bags, shoes, purses, and other paraphernalia in the entry way. Trust me - it only looks like this when we arrive. As soon as we all leave, it's pretty much spotless again.) |
| Ashlyn and Lilly are only a little over a month apart, and are starting to discover each other at all the gatherings. I have a feeling they're going to be best buds! |

| Two beautiful ladies in green! |
| And Ashlyn decided this day was her day to show off. She kept pushing herself up into a standing position, all on her own! The walking is just around the corner... |
| Luke liked being held almost as much as everyone enjoyed holding him. With colds and flus and threats of all the other nasties flying around town, he's been pretty sequestered during his first month of life, so this outing was a new opportunity for so many to get to meet the newest progenitor. Brent's seen him a couple of times, but it had been a few weeks and he loved getting to snuggle the little guy again. |
| The girls found the dress up box and Karsyn went full tilt gorgeous! |
| Okay. Someone decided a photo of Uncle Dan with all the nieces and nephews was in order. Only two nieces and one nephew were not buying into it.... |
| ...so after several attempts we decided to remove the youngest. But at this point it appeared that all the kids were interested in was.... |
| .... getting back to the games on the IPad ... just as long as they could sit next to and hang over their Uncle Dan. It was so fun having him in town, and look above: even though we didn't get all the kids to smile, at least we got Dan's smiles! |
The day before this, a group of us (including Heather) got together to go see the new Oz movie. And that was a fun outing, too, with ice cream afterwards at Thanksgiving Point. Unfortunately, I forgot even my phone, so no photos of that - just the memory kinds. :(
I absolutely love getting all the family together. It was a sweet
treat to have Dan in town for a few days and we really enjoyed time with
him.

What fun photos and of course memories. I want copies of the pictures. Steph is an amazing hostess, cook, cleaner, and just amazing. Thanks for letting us trash your pad again.
