Thurgood Reunion- My Great-Grandparents

My brother Ron brought my parents and Connie with him to this reunion in Far West where I joined them to celebrate this great big huge family.  They were among the original settlers in that part of Utah and it was fun to meet some of the people who share these common ancestors.

We had two babysitting opportunities with the grandkids last weekend.   Saturday night we went up to Mike and Makinzee's to stay with those kids while the parents came down for Mike's 20 year reunion at Lehi High School (am I that old????).   We watched movies and had pizza and popcorn and candy and a great time.  Just hard to take pictures of people watching movies.... :(

Monday night we stayed with Bill and Stephanie's girls while they went out for their anniversary.  Since we haven't had a chance to take them to Chuck-e-Cheeses yet, we took this opportunity to do this.   I think they had a fun time.

Earlier, it was Jeremiah Johnson's Day Camp with the Cub Scouts from our ward.  Brent and I are the Bear Den Leaders right now and those guys are so so fun.  I had to go to work on that day but I went with them for the first part of the activities, leaving at lunch time to go to work in my Scout uniform.   I did post on FB in our Cub Scout FB page.  Happy Fourth of July today!  Hopefully we'll do something sometime when we can actually get a few more photos of some of the other grandkids today.   Not sure.   I got a tip of something embedded in my foot and am hobbling around today.   And Brent has gone into work to try to take advantage of no interruptions to get some projects caught up.   May not do anything at all.
