March Madness...

... actually it was February, and Mike's kids were finishing up their basketball season here locally.  Brent made it to Jack's final game and got a few photos of him working his magic on court.  (I was attending my own Stake Women's Conference so I missed this game.)

Trophies came home with the team members at the end of the game.
Great year,  Jack!  It was fun to be able to attend a few of your games.

The next weekend, it was Maddy's final game.  Makinzee was still coaching and we had Kamryn tag along with us for the game.  Of course,
Mike was there with the cheering section:

Lilly
Jack
Lexi
And in the game:

(Maddy is number 21)

The above photo was taken a split second before No. 2's foot came down on top of Maddy's, sending her sprawling with a pretty red floor burn on her knee and putting Maddy out of the game for a brief time.  But she's tough and it wasn't long before she was out running the court again.

And during March, Eric got to try his hand at a whole bag of ball games in "Itty Bitty Ball" at the Lehi Legacy Center.   The day I went they were playing flag football.  He was very well behaved and  stood very nicely and let the other team take all his flags.  Cutie!

Best part of the games for Luke was the popcorn he got to share with his big brother after.

As we go into Sweet Sixteen weekend, can't help but be proud of our own ball players.  On court and off, we think they're terrific!

(Trying hard to get caught up.  Can't wait to share more of our life over the past couple of months.)

Just once I think I will make my kids sign up for one traditional sport. I love team sports! I love that Makinzee coaches. How fun. Also, speaking on March Madness....it is mayhem around here with WI in the Final Four!

Dang I commented here too. Thanks for the fun pictures and for cheering on our kids. They have sports in there blood! Sometimes blood comes thru the surface too.
