Baltimore - Thursday, August 21, 2014

Brent and I got to go to Baltimore for a very special occasion:  Jake, Sean's son, was being  baptized and that was an event we could not miss.  Edna was able to join us for this trip, too, which made it even more special.

Going east we lost two hours and arrived at dinner time.  Sean does a great job of introducing us to new local diners each time we come out and he didn't disappoint on this night.  Who's serving?  Honey Bee Diner in Glen Burnie.

Fun decor, although the tungsten lighting throughout was murder on the photos, turning everything very very red.   I've adjusted as well as I could, but still am not happy with the end result. That said, I'm more than happy with the subject matter.   It was so fun to be with Sean's family again!

Tabatha had some exciting news to share with us.  They had just found out the baby is a girl.  Tabatha's going to have a little sister come February!

Linzy's mom Norma was also able to make the trek out for this occasion.   She arrived a couple of days ahead of us.

 So fun to be back with Sean's family again.  The food was great at this location.  The company even greater!   

We had a long day ahead of us on Friday, so we ate, gave hugs, and headed back to the hotel for some much needed sleep.  Friday plans included the White House and the Capitol Building.  Next post.
