FAMILY!Thanksgiving Day, 2009I'm grateful for
little hands and
little noses that love to help make wonderful lemmony treats.

I'm grateful for
generations, four apart, bound by love across the ages.

I'm grateful for good weather that allowed my
parents to join us on this day.

I'm grateful for
humor! And for Mike's
willing fingers to roll out 96, yes
96, dinner rolls by hand!

I'm grateful for
grandchildren we haven't seen in what seems like forever. I love the way they tease, and play, and the joy they are in our lives! And I'm grateful to be married to my very
BEST FRIEND in all the world!

I'm grateful for my princesses, and princes, all
eight of them!

and for a
daughter who cares enough about her nieces and nephews to sit with them at their table. She made their day in a way nobody else could! (You're awesome, Heather)

I'm grateful for
Bill and Stephanie, for their love and their willingness to open their home to Everyone! We enjoyed having their neighbors from Romania join us for our Thanksgiving dinner. (And did I say, I'm grateful to be an
American?)

And even in these challenging economic times, we can still
feast and enjoy each others' company.
I didn't get everyone's pictures here, but you can see Dan in the background above. Mike and Makinzee and their family came from Idaho. Dan came from Branson. And Sean and Linzy and family came from Iraq and Ft. Hood to be with us this year. Tonya and Brian showed up later, and Isaac came with Heather. What a blessing to be together. I can't say it enough - I am grateful for each and every one of you! Thanks for being part of my life!
