Last night the power went out and then on and then out again, and stayed off for several hours.
The house got colder and colder, and I was tempted to go and turn on the fireplace,
but I didn't. Instead, I put on an extra blanket on my side of the bed.
Brent was snoring peacefully on his side ... under his single sheet.
Last night the air was filled with blizzard snow frosting everything facing north with a thick layer of heavy white icing.
This morning the wind was calm, the power was back on, and below is what we woke up to. There is a link for more photos at the bottom of the post, but there are no people in any of them, just pictures from around our house.

Unbelievable huh. But it sure was pretty how it stuck to everything.
Oh my goodness. It's beautiful but you can just tell it is freezing! :)
