Busy weekend with grandchildren -
Maddy's Piano Recital (terrific job, Maddy!)

Maddy, Jack, and Lexi's Primary Sacrament Meeting program - we got to attend, and loved the spirit that was there. Each one of Mike's children had their parts memorized and did a great job!
I believe it was also Jake's Primary Sacrament Meeting program - we missed, but got to hear his part while we were in Baltimore and know he did a great job, too, because it was almost all memorized two weeks ago (and it was a long part, too).
And last night we had a family gathering for a
Family Halloween Party!
It's been a fun weekend and I took some photos that can all be viewed on my Facebook HERE. As I noted in that post, I really screwed up the photos at the party because I forgot to check my lens setting and it was set on manual focus - but I wasn't manually focusing so I got a whole lot of very sharp backgrounds and very blurry foregrounds. So sad.
However, we loved being with all the local kids! And seeing their adorable costumes. Moms have been very busy! Hope to see them again on Thursday, if not before.

I have been heartbroken when camera issues (or in my case, usually camera user issues)have ruined my images of the day many, many times but you got enough to remember a good time with lots of little masked munchkins so better than nothing, right?
Love that top picture. BTW I need lots of pictures from you young lady--I haven't got any this year and it's the end of October! Thanks! (in advance for the pictures) and for a wonderful weekend, we are so lucky to have you so close and appreciate spending so much time with you this weekend.
