Our Kitchen's in its Cocoon StageSo much of life seems to be a matter of metamorphosis. I love the analogies of the butterflies. Our poor kitchen has been in the old, worn out caterpillar stage for too long. I'm letting it go into its cocoon, I think. Yes, it looks more like a disaster area, but for a while that's kind of what it's going to have to be. One day I'll post the butterfly pictures, but as we tear it down and gut it out it's just going to have to be patient with itself. Hello, cocoon. Change and grow and be beautiful!

r u getting ride of that wall? that will open it up a ton if you are
WE just need to find a structural engineer who can give us the go ahead. If it's structurally sound, that is the plan.
