To be honest, it isn't quite done. It will be Monday before they can come and fill in the sections between the driveway and the road, as well as the one extending the new sidewalk out to the road. And it will be a lot longer before we can re-landscape. But today we can walk on the rest, so to me, it is done enough to post "AFTER" pictures of the new driveway and sidewalk. Don't panic. The "bubbles" are simply that - water beading on the sealed surface.
Look, Ma, no cracks to break my back! No rocks, no weeds growing in the middle of where the sidewalk is supposed to be!
Oh, and here are a couple of flower pictures I also took this morning, just because all that concrete is pretty dull and gray on the eyes. I WISH this was in my backyard, but it's still close enough to enjoy through the fence to our backyard neighbor's yard.
Now this is in our backyard. I've been thinking forever I knew the name of this bush, but realized today that I really have forgotten it. Some different varieties of the same flower can grow to be the size of a dish plate, and Grandma L has one planted at her place. Anyone remember? Anyway, I love flowers and look forward to some new landscaping over the next 24 months or so.

Wow, looks great :) And good pictures of the flowers are really good.
Look at all the progress. Check that off the list. What's next?
