Bring On the Glop!

You saw the "before" pictures, below. Now for the DURING photos. I never thought I'd be so excited to see CEMENT! But I learned that before the cement could come, there was a whole lot more work that had to be done. (Don't remember this kind of work ever being done the two other times we had cement poured....)

Of course the first thing that had to be done was to GET RID of the OLD. (There could be a repentance lesson in all this, I'm thinking).





Then you've got to pack everything down hard. Bam! Bam! Bam! Rumble, rumble, rumble.



Another step is to set up new guidelines, new rules, new forms.




Finally comes the filler, the glue that holds it all together, BRING ON THE CEMENT! (There really is a repentance analogy here!)
