Happy TWO Years Old, Kamryn!

What's a party without food?
Stephanie's brother and sister's family all came to celebrate Kamryn's big day.

And what was the menu? MMMM - you can see it all over Kamryn's face: "Spgetti" and corn-on-the-cob. (Don't tell Kamryn, but the "spgetti" is really lasagna.)

Just as we were ready for gift opening, Kamryn got a phone call from her Idaho cousins. It's blurry, but I hope you can catch the delight in her face as they sang "Happy Birthday" to her.

A scooter, a scooter, hurray! she got a scooter!

Cousins celebrating with Kamryn.

It's always wonderful to have Great-Grand-parents join in on these activities.

This is how you cut the bread and the carrots and the melon! Kamryn and all the rest of her young guests had a great time cutting apart the wooden slices of bread, carrots, and watermelon she got from her Grandma and Grandpa Mickelsen. It was a huge hit and we think whoever thought up this line of toys had to be either a big genius or composed of a whole lot of child inside!

The gifts were all opened, the cake was all gone, and there were enough new toys for each of the children to find something to play with. So things settled into a somewhat peaceful time to visit and play and enjoy being together.

So many new toys to play with! Kamryn goes to her Uncle Joel for advice on how to put together her new Mr. Potato Head.

Rub a dub dub, three kids in a tub..., er - wagon?
um ... try again:
Rub a big dragon, three babes in a wagon
A Pearson, a Kamryn, and Sir Henry Allen,
All going on a spree ...
Huge Thanks! to Kynlee, for being such a great sport in pulling the wagon loaded and through bogging-down grass!

Pay-back time: Kamryn takes her turn doing the pulling (with a little bit of help from behind).

It turned out to be a great evening, and I'm so grateful to have at least one grandchild close enough for us to join in on these fun life experiences!

Julie, your blog is amazing! We so appreciate your pictures and comments, which help us feel part of the goings on in the Loveridge family, even when we can't be there. We know Stephanie appreciates your speediness in posting. You even went above and beyond in your 4th of July entry, giving us a peek at some of our other grandchildren. Thanks so very much!!
