Oh, Nick!

Nickolas Allen Loveridge was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
This took place in the Willow Park Stake Center, Lehi, Utah.

Nick was excited to have his uncle Bill baptize him.
Bill was excited, too.
This was his first experience baptizing someone.

Nick's father Sean (my oldest son) confirmed him after the baptism.

Nick is a pretty special young man.
The world spins inside his very smart mind.
His body can't sit still, he has so many things he wants to do all at once.
And when Nick smiles, his eyebrows go UP with his lips!

He tries hard to make his eyebrows stay down.
He tries so hard, his smile disappears
and his eyes half close.
But that doesn't work, either.

And then everything just kind of all screws up!

Oh, well.


That just doesn't matter.
The important thing is that he's our very special eight year old grandson and we are so proud of him!

Way to go, Nick!

(By the way, lest you accuse Dan of being unsociable - which he was - let me explain. He had a bad cold the entire trip. And he, too, hung out in the halls so the rest of us wouldn't get it. Shouldn't have. Got it anyway.)
