Celebrate!

Happy Birthday  !!!!
to both Heather (Feb. 20) and Tonya (Feb. 25).
Sunday was a great day to gather as a family (at least everyone local) to celebrate.

Only Heather and Tonya DO NOT get their wishes. (Sorry, girls. It just doesn't count to have someone a whole lot younger take care of the candle blowing out.)
Now, the idea here was that all three of the young ones were going to blow them out all at the same time.

Right.

Finally, a very patient Maddy and trying-hard-to-be-patient Jack get their turns to help put out the flames.

It was SO fun to have Mike's family join us for this celebration. Lexi's adapting quickly to being around so many people called "Grandma" or "Grandpa" or "Aunt/Uncle". She thinks all those words just stand for one thing: love.
And she's right.

Karsyn's catching on pretty quick, as well.

Kamryn and Jack thought the best part of the ice cream cake had to be those little pieces of chocolate rolled up like straws. They were ready to pull them all off and make like bandits!

Here are a few other fun pictures from the day. (Kind of looks like Isaac's gone Afro!)

And this is what Mike looks like trying to get Karsyn to smile for his camera.

A huge thanks to Bill and Stephanie for letting us continue to turn their place into Grand Central Station for all the family get togethers!

NOt that I don't like going to Grand Central Station...but when is it your turn to host the gatherings? Haven't seen any updates on the house for a while. BTW thanks for the Co2 alarm. Installed and thankfully hasn't beeped at us yet:)

Happy Birthday Tonya and Heather. With Tonya's dark hair you look more then ever now like sisters. Both beautiful chickas!

That was such a fun party. And, my wish has never come true with me blowing out the candles, so I think it's a good idea to try my luck with someone else blowing out the candles.
