For Grandma and Grandpa Mickelsen

HI, Gramma and Grampa Mickelsen! I sure do miss you!
Gramma Loveridge (I learned how to say that, by the way: "Love er idge. I'm Kamryn Love-er-idge!") let me take some time on her blog so you could see what I've been doing this summer. It's been so-o-o much fun!!!! And I've been learning so many things! And this has all happened since my birthday (she said you already saw those pictures.)

Well, a week after my birthday, Mommy and Daddy took me to a real live carnival. Here I am with my friend Henry. We rode and rode and rode rides. There were pretty lights and loud music and lots and lots of people I didn't know.

Ohhhh, around and around and around and around. You ought to try it sometime. I didn't know tummy tickles could be so much fun!!!!
On July 25, Mommy and Daddy went on a date. Sometimes I cry when they leave me, but this time I was happy. See, I had my own date with Grandma and Grandpa Loveridge. They let me play in my swimming pool until I turned blue! I splashed Grandpa and he played ball with me, and Grandma just kept taking pictures. (Sometimes I think that's all she does is take pictures. Silly Grandma!)

See this? The swimming pool is just as fun after the water's all out!

This is a picture of us at Wines Park in Lehi. It was a cold night, but we had a picnic anyway. It was a REE-YOU-NION. See, Great-Grandma came to play with us. She stayed overnight, even. Aug. 7, 2009.
August 18 we went to a big, big building in Provo. It had something to do with BYU, but I'm not sure what that means. One thing I do know. I like it when Daddy lets me ride on his shoulders!
This funny animal was really a person all dressed up. Is it Halloween? Where's my costume? What's a mascot?

On August 20 we went to a park in a town called Riverton. I got to show how I can fill up my own cup, all by myself!

I'm not sure why I didn't get to be in this picture. One thing is for sure, I wanted Mommy to hold me and not just stand there.

There, she did pick me up. But now I wanted down. I'm not sure why, myself. Sometimes my feelings just get all squiggled up inside me and I don't know what I want!

We went to my cousin's birthday party a few days later. He's a boy! And what a haul of things he got!

Pearson only had one candle on his cake. I wanted to help him blow it out, too. But they said he got to do it all by himself.

Here's a funny picture taken at the party! Did you know Mommy's going to have a baby sister? She keeps telling me she's in her tummy, but I can't see her there. Is Daddy going to have a baby brother?

The very next day was Daddy's birthday and everyone came to our house. I was a big helper. Here's a picture of me helping Daddy open his presents.
I was so excited to help Daddy blow out the candles on his cake. I've been practicing since before my own birthday, but he had a whole lot more candles than the two on my cake. And his were squiggly! And I wanted to blow them out right away! But he said we had to wait until the singing was all done. Silly Daddy!

And here I am helping get the cake and ice cream ready. Don't you think parties are the greatest?!!!

I'm learning so many things. Like how to draw and make lines and make circles. (My friend Henry showed me how to use the black marker to decorate everything in the house, too. Mommy wasn't too happy about that, though. Oops.) Guess what! Another thing I learned was how to take my clothes off! All by myself! But mommy didn't take any pictures of that.

Now, summer's coming to an end. But that's ok,
because next comes Halloween and I'm gettin' ready!
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Boo!
Take that you mascot!!!

I love you and can't wait to see you again. Have a fun mission!

(Gramma L stole all the pictures from mommy and daddy's camera, except she took the pool ones )
