Elephant Tales

Got to go to the Hogle Zoo with Bill and Stephanie's little family on Friday. It was one of those perfect autumn days, a little cool at first but wonderful as the day continued.

The zoo was full of ELEPHANTS - trunks to ride on, pink ones to slide on ....

And even baby ones, alive!

Baby giraffes, too!
And even human babies. And they were all, every one, a little drowsy in that wonderful weather day.
Kamryn's friend Cora and her mom Allison came, too.
They found cats to climb on,

And cats to ride on ....

And of course, no zoo trip would be complete without the ride on the train. Bill and Stephanie in the back, Kamryn, Cora, and Allison in the front. Me? I'm watching Karsyn. She was still asleep.

(Couldn't have had anything to do with staying WIDE AWAKE for EIGHT HOURS the NIGHT before, could it? - Poor kid, slept right through her first trip to the zoo!)

What a great day at Hogle Zoo. We haven't been there for many years, but are having our own zoo experience here! As always, thanks for keeping us in on everything at the Loveridge house.
