I have eight grandchildren now. And each and every one is a joy and a delight. Being a grandma is kind of like going to Disneyland for the first time. You hear people talk about it and compare it in your mind to experiences you've already had, but until you actually experience it in person, you just can't imagine it anywhere near the complete joy the reality gives you.
I can't tell Linzy, Kinzy, and Stephanie how grateful I am to each of them for being the wonderful moms they are, and for willing to share their precious babies with us. Stephanie, because she lives the closest, gets an extra dose of grandparent interference, and she is so tolerant and kind about it. Last Sunday we were sitting around after dinner and Brent was playing with his video camera. We thought these videos of Stephanie and Karsyn were just sweet.
This is for Karsyn's other grandparents, the Mickelsen's, who are on a mission in South Africa. With all the wonders of a mission, the one thing that can't be brought back is seeing the grandbabies when they are babies. That is a huge sacrifice, and we honor them for making it. So here are a couple of little tastes that hopefully will help fill the gap a tiny bit.

We will be forever in your debt for all the effort you are making to help us watch Kamryn and Karsyn grow. Loved the salsa entry-brought back memories of all the salsa I use to bottle each fall. Probably 75-100 quarts!
