The Snake, cont.

The snake I mentioned in an earlier blog slithered off to some private hole before I could find someone braver than me to remove it. However, yesterday, on my way home from work I saw another wiggly piece of rope in the middle of the road several blocks down on 300 W. And sure enough, it turned out to be another Thamnophis sirtalis! (I could hope it was the same, but am doubtful). Lehi, it seems, is having an infestation of voles. Those are little rodents similar to mice. Snakes eat voles. Maybe the two go hand in hand? I vote we get rid of both!
