How you found out about blogger and why you have one
I found out about blogger because Makinzee and Tonya were both keeping one and suddenly everyone quit posting pictures to our family website, which I thought was very sad. Granted, the family website rather prevented people from being very personal about what they put up. It was more a quick newsletter to other family members. But today only I and Dan ever check it. Sometimes Dan leaves posts. But he is the only one. So I'm not going to renew it this year. Then Dan will be left out, though, and that makes me sadder. Ok, everyone, how do we convince him to start blogging, too?
Anyway, I digress... Makinzee and Tonya were both keeping a blog and it was so fun to read their posts and see their individuality come out on their blog sites, I decided I would like to at least give it a try. I'm very comfortable gamboling around in my own computer, but going to the web was way out of that comfort zone for sure, and I wasn't too sure about being able to figure everything out. The girls convinced me I could do it, though, and after some careful coaching from them, I finally did. And I've been doing it ever since.
I started the blog hoping to simply share my own goals - failures as well as successes, and to post pictures (uploading to Facebook is easiest and this is next - the family website is definitely not). But I've been surprised to find blogging is actually a creative outlet as well. And a social network I really did not anticipate finding. I love the feedback with the comments. I also have really got to know so many other people through their blogs - nieces I would not know, ward friends, and other friends. It's been a fun way to stay in touch.

It's kindof a not so private journal, I agree comments make it worth your time!
I love all the things I am learning about all the ladies in the Loveridge family! Definitely a fun way to "keep in touch"- even if it is just across town!
