While he was here, we had two family gatherings: One on Super Bowl Sunday - which really wasn't intended as a 'Super Bowl Party' but more as a family gathering with the Super Bowl going on in the background. The other was Valentine's Day Eve at Bill and Stephanie's, where everyone came except Brent, who was at home with a sinus infection, and Leo and Edna, who were at the hospital ER having Edna's knee taken care of (a very painful cyst that had to be drained). And, of course, our Maryland crew, whom we always miss.
But this was the first time Eric got to meet his cousins and most of his aunts and uncles on the Loveridge side. Since he was born over six weeks ago, it has been one illness after another. All I can say, however, with all this avoidance of the people who have been sick, is that so far Eric has managed to stay healthy. And we pray that it continues to be that way because there has sure been a lot of crud dancing around our neighborhood.
Here are two links to photos from both occasions:
| Feb. 6 - Lexi was explaining something very important to her Uncle Dan. Did he understand one word of it? |
Here for the rest of the Valentine pictures.

Dan needs to visit more! Good luck on your adventures, we never made it to Branson maybe we will make it to Tennessee--somewhere we've never been before. But I'm guessing that's Dans thoughts also. Thanks Julie for providing the grub at all these parties. Sunday dinners are what we missed the most being gone and are what we love the most being back!
BTW, did you find the link where you can email people your blog? Dan needs to get an email with all your posts on it. It's somewhere in the blog...
Great suggestion, Kinzee. I found it and he will now get them automatically. I usually try to email him when I post something I especially think he will enjoy seeing, but I don't get them all sent, for sure.
I agree, we need to have him in town more often. It's great having you around now, and we're really enjoying having Tonya closer. We just love you all so much! Need to see Heather a little more often though, even if she does live close. And then we've got to figure out a way to get the Army kids back home, too!
I thought that picture of Dan was Brody for a second. Looks like some fun family parties, although I would have liked to see some green and gold at that Superbowl party. Hee,hee!
Julie, I can see where you thought that about Dan. And you're right. We really blew it at the Superbowl party. Sorry. Glad they won anyway.
