Day 13 - This hurt's for real....

30-Day Challenge, Day 13
A letter to someone who has hurt you recently
Though too small to be even seen with many microscopes you did it, my friend, you did it good!  You've laid me low and left me incapacitated, out of breath, and miserable for everyone around me.  Congratulations!  I wish I could just simply turn my back on you and walk away, but unfortunately you aren't so easy to dismiss.  And now it seems, I'm stuck with you.  My body is rebelling, but that doesn't help matters.  You are just here, and the truth is nobody really has figured out a way to get rid of you.  Good job!

What's that you say?  You just wanted me to take some time off, to slow down, to rest?   And you expect me to believe that????   How can I begin to rest when I start coughing as soon as my head hits the pillow.  How can I begin to rest when I come up gasping for breath?   No, little virus, you've done me in good.  But today I'm fighting back!  I'm kicking you out and slamming the door behind you!  I'm loaded with steroids and antihistamines and expectorants and sending you packing!  Goodbye and good riddance, I say!

Just wanted you to know that next year I am definitely getting the flu shot, because though I haven't had the flu, apparently the shot can also help ward off you, my evil little bronchitis virus.

It can, dang, I should have had the flu shot too. 1st year I haven't. Adios, bronchitius! And don't find me please.

So sorry you are feeling crummy! I love the way that both you and Makinzee went with this question though. This was one of the reasons I didn't play. I didn't like this question, and I didn't like all the pics I would have to post of myself. I like that you both kept this one light. How cruel would it be to write to a real person. Ouch!

Gratefully, Tonya, I am getting better. Thank you. And I'll really try not to give it to you, Kinz. I did not get a shot this year, and am regretting it, but read somewhere that it does help prevent these kind of viruses, too.

Julie, my sentiments exactly. I keep thinking of the story about the couple who went to counseling and were told to write down all the things that bothered them about the other spouse. The wife came up with her list and then it was the husband's turn. He had a blank paper. I learned a long time ago that hurts disappear unless you nurse them and keep picking at them. But viruses, on the other hand....

Sorry but I had the flu shot and it still found me! Maybe it would have been worse if I hadn't!
