Day 17 - Who?

30-Day Challenge, Day 17

Someone you would want to switch lives with for one day and why:

       Oh, goodness, so many thoughts on this one ...

For ONE day, and one day only, if I could switch places with someone, who would it be and why would I choose that person ....

I've been thinking about this one ever since I really read the list of what I was getting myself into.  You'd think I'd have one name by now, but I have so many.  I've narrowed it down to three:

First, I'd love to switch places with Kamryn, just so I could have one day with that kind of energy again.

I think it would be really fun to switch places with my Grandma Heaps - not now (though that could be interesting, because she's been dead for a while) but back when she was a young woman, a Catholic in Zurich, Switzerland, on the day she realized the Church was true and gained her first seed of faith.  I'd love to know what she thought and how she felt, and what her parents were like and her siblings.  I'd love to know what her street smelled like after a rainstorm and felt like back in the early parts of the 1900's.  I'd love to see her bedroom, and go to work where she worked, and meet the co-worker who introduced her to the Gospel.  I wish she had written about it.

And third, for just one day, I'd love to switch places with Tonya - just so she could call in sick and spend a day sleeping (not that I ever get to, but if she was me she could make that choice, right?) and so I could feel once again the joy of nursing and cuddling and caring for a tiny little baby just discovering the world.   

To be honest, I wouldn't switch places with anyone for the world.  I love who I am and where I am right now, but if I could switch, these are just a few of the things I miss and think it would be fun to have one more day of.
